11/26/2022 0 Comments Glock 19 serial numbers ending in us![]() The updates of the new generation centered on ergonomics and the spring assembly. The Glock 27 Gen 4 is a product from the Gen 4 series that was introduced in 2010. Another new feature, the dual recoil pin, reduces recoil and increases the life cycle of the assembly. New features include removable back straps that allow shooters to adjust the grip for size and ease of use. “Gen 4” means it is the fourth generation G17. The Glock 17 Gen 4 is a semi-automatic large-frame pistol chambered in 9mm. For example, a Browning serial number can range in length from eight to ten characters, a Glock number is only five characters long. Typically the serial number can be found on the handle, slide, trigger guard or receiver. The serial number can be found in many different locations. Where is the serial number on a Glock pistol? The Trigger: The trigger is the level that the user squeezes to begin the process of firing the Glock. This portion is pulled back manually in order to load a cartridge into the chamber from the magazine of the gun. The Slide: The slide is the top half of the pistol. On top of that, there have been changes to the line between full generations, for instance the glock 26 is available in a generation 2.5. Glock categorizes their guns as Generation 1, Generation 2, Generation 3, Generation 4, and recently Generation 5. The second generation of Glock pistols only made minor revisions. If you can’t hit with a Glock 19, you need to not have guns and it’s just that simple. It’s easy to tote, easy to conceal, and easy to shoot. Second Glock Generation The Glock 19 has been one of the most popular pistols ever created, and for good reason. The company has finally acknowledged the way Glock owners label their pistols as far as generational improvements. And the first thing people noticed with these pistols is for the first time, they all bear the Gen4 mark on the slide. The numbers have nothing to do with the firearm itself and may seem arbitrary to most – for example, the G45 is not a 45 caliber handgun, it’s actually a 9mm. Every model is assigned a number after the letter G, which predictably stands for Glock. Glock has a simple way to name their pistols. This means for every two letter combination, there were up to 1,000 pistols produced with numbers from 000 to 999. These guns had serial numbers beginning with a two letter alpha prefix of “AF” followed by a three digit number. You may have to remove the stock to find it. You can also find it on our products page. The model number can be found on the end of the box the gun came in. These numbers appear on a metal insert on the bottom of the frame just ahead of the trigger guard. The official serial number in the United States is the one appearing on the frame which includes the “US” suffix. ![]()
